Ride the MAX bus on designated Ozone Action Days! All rides on the fixed routes are FREE on all Ozone Action Days. Buses will display an alert notifying passengers of Ozone Days and free rides on the fixed routes. Help do your part to reduce harmful emissions to the ozone by using public transit.

Six new bus stops have been added, affecting three routes, effective April 14, 2008. The bus stops were added to ensure residents of larger housing developments or apartment complexes are within ¼ mile of a fixed bus stop so that they can access the fixed routes without having to use the reserved ride service. The new bus stops are:

Route 1-N. Mall Area:
o New stop at Millpond Apartments on Felch St. at :25
o Beeline N. of Felch at :41 every hour
o Felch W. of VanOmmen Dr. at :41
Route 2-Butternut/136th
o Douglas & Madison (across from JCI Douglas) at :06
Route 5-Washington/S. River
o Candlelight Drive & E. 48th St. at :20
o W. 48th West of Central Ave. at :21

Route 4 (Waverly/120th) will be rerouted between 120th and Beeline due to road construction on Riley Street now through late summer. The bus will travel northbound on 120th to Greenly, west on Greenly, and south on Beeline to Wellness Drive. The bus will turn around in Wellness Drive by the medical complex and go north on Beeline, east on Greenly and south on 120th to continue its route. Please note the stop at120th and Greenly will be at approximately :22 each hour, and the bus stop time for Wellness Drive is :30 each hour.
