Bus Passes
Bus passes are economical and convenient for frequent passengers. MAX sells several types of passes to meet your needs:
Daily Pass for $2 giving unlimited rides on the fixed routes for one specified day
Monthly Fixed Route Pass for $30 giving unlimited rides on MAX's fixed routes for one calendar month
Green Punch Pass for $20 giving fixed route riders $22 worth of rides, good for both fixed route and Reserve-A-MAX rides
ADA Punch Pass for $15 giving ADA-qualified passengers 10 Reserve-A-MAX rides, a savings of 50 cents per ride
Student Semester Pass for $30 giving students unlimited fixed route rides for one semester
NOTICE: $10 PUNCH PASS & YOUTH PASSES TO BE DISCONTINUED EFFECTIVE JULY 31, 2012
The $10 Punch Pass is being replaced with a higher value $20 Punch Pass (worth $22 worth of rides) in $1 increments only. The $10 Punch Pass with 50 cent increments will no longer be sold after July 31.
The Half Fare Monthly Pass, the Summer Fun Pass, and the $50 Student Semester Pass also will be discontinued and replaced with a new, lower-priced $30 Student Semester pass that may be used by youth and also adult students with a valid school/college ID. The new $30 Student Pass will be good for unlimited rides on the fixed bus routes as follows:
- Fall – Sept. 1-Dec. 31
- Winter – Jan. 1- April 30
- Spring/Summer – May 1-August 31
We strongly encourage youth students who were using the $10 Punch Pass for fares to purchase a new $30 Student Semester Pass for the best savings and greatest convenience or to pay fares with cash.
