Did you know that MAX transit has over 400 fixed route stops that can get you to various places around the Holland/Zeeland Michigan area? It’s true! The beauty of having all of these fixed route stops during the holiday season is that it puts you within walking distance to many area holiday events…all while saving money and the environment! We’ve compiled a list of upcoming holiday related events that you can get to by riding a MAX fixed route:
Santa’s Shoppe at Home & Company – Downtown Holland
There is still time to see Santa if you haven’t seen him already! Board Route 2 from The Depot and get off at :03 (River N. of 7th) and walk on down to Home and Company to see the big man himself! Santa is scheduled to be there at the following times for the remainder of the year:

Thursday, December 17th: 5:30PM – 8:30PM
Friday, December 18th: 5:30PM – 8:30PM
Saturday, December 19th: 1PM – 6PM
Sunday, December 20th: 12PM – 3PM

Tuesday, December 22nd: 5:30PM – 8:30PM
Wednesday, December 23rd: 5:30PM – 8:30PM
Thursday, December 24th: 10AM – 3PM
There is no charge to see Santa, but make sure to bring your own camera!
“The Promise” at the Knickerbocker Theatre – Downtown Holland
“The Promise” combines the Christmas Story together with Christmas music and scripture in a contemporary and classical ballet. “The Promise” is presented by the Turning Pointe School of Dance ensembles. View ticket information/buy tickets online here. Board Route 3 and get off at :48 (9th E. of College at Haworth Inn) and cross 9th Street to watch this beautiful ensemble! Victorian Christmas Tea at the Cappon House – Downtown Holland
Experience the Cappon House dressed in full Christmas attire. Enjoy light refreshments along with soft piano music from the 1900’s complementing the festive atmosphere. The cost is $10 for Adults and $5 for Children 12 and under. Click here for more information.

Sneaky Mice at the Holland Area Arts Council – Downtown Holland
Time to get sneaky! This open-house style event lets parents drop their kids off at the Holland Area Arts Council and sneak away downtown while their kids make and wrap gifts for their families. Cost is $15 per child.
